Clam To Fam

On April 27th, 2023, I sent Tucker Carlson a message wherein I requested that he interviews Alex Jones. On December 7th, 2023, Tucker Carlson interviewed Alex Jones, and it went extremely viral. I have no idea if my request played a role in that, and I'll never know.

Modern Family

I'm at season 8 of my watch-thru of "Modern Family." One thing I've noticed about the series is that a few of the actors aren't as good at acting as the rest of the cast. And I find that some of the spoken lines in the series are absolutely hilariously well-written. I have some favorite moments from what I've seen so far, and there were even some moments I hated, yet I continue watching the show. When I spent a year living with a friend named Crystal and her family -- quite some time ago -- I would occasionally watch episodes of it with them, but I finally got around to trying to watch the whole series.

Multi-Topic Post

This afternoon, the Saskatchewan budget will be released. I count myself within the ranks of what people these days call "the poors," and so I hope that the new Provincial budget includes some extra considerations for "the poors." I live in a Housing Authority apartment (that I absolutely love), and my income comes from the Saskatchewan Assured Income For Disabilities program, because I was diagnosed with some mental health issues that it took me a while to realize that they're probably correct about. The two most important things that I want to always be able to afford are food and toilet paper. And then there's internet access. I don't want to ever have to sacrifice internet access in order to afford enough food or toilet paper on any particular month. For lunch right now, I'm just finishing eating a beef patty and two baked potatoes. I mashed the potatoes with ranch dressing. I should have included some veggies with this meal, so I'll make sure to include veggies with supper. While I write this, I'm watching music videos on MTV's "spankin' new" Channel on PlutoTV; it's just a flow of new music videos with an MTV watermark on the bottom of the screen ... and people still post MEMEs saying that MTV doesn't do that anymore.

New X-Men episodes soon :)

March 20th is the first two new episodes of the best version of the X-Men cartoon, since the 1990s. And I'm not going to watch those new episodes on March 20th, but I'm glad that they're continuing that series, and I'm going to continue watching that series from where I left-off the last time I tried watching that series. I'll eventually get to the new episodes. All I know is that each episode that I've seen so far has been excellent.

It's gotta get said somewhere.

I think I said this somewhere before, but I am worried about not getting the Climate Rebate. Due to things I couldn't control, such as a mental health diagnosis, I'm on the set of government-funded "safety nets," and one has to be incredibly responsible in order to budget properly on those. I plan my budgets months in advance, plugging into them all expected funds, including GST and Climate Rebate. Hence, I had already plugged the Climate Rebate into my plans regarding next month and beyond. And even though I plan months in advance, each month I make some perfectly human irresponsible slip-ups with my budget; and whether I do that or not, there is usually an unexpected situation that causes an unexpected expense. So the money usually runs out, or comes close to running out, before each next month, regardless of whether or not it's one of the months that include GST and even the Climate Rebate. To put it bluntly, I'm kinda a little screwed if Saskatchewan residents don't get the Climate Rebate this April. I just wanted to make sure that this gets said somewhere.

Oscars Sunday

Are you going to watch The Oscars? I have always had a certain level of affinity for The Oscars, but I don't care to watch much of it tonight. I also have a certain level of disdain for it, as it's yet another of what I -- and certain other people I've met online -- call a "running of the sheeple" event. I once tried writing a novel called "Running of the Sheeple" which highlighted why a certain niche of people use that phrase to refer to certain traditions in Western culture, but I lost the draft of that novel that I was working on. And when I think back on the story that I was working on for that novel, I think that had I finished it and published it, it might have caused some of its readers to take a step back and think for themselves, and do something else during certain times. But I'll probably never re-try to write that story, as the way how I lost the draft of it hurt me emotionally. One thing that would be ironic though, is if I would have finished that story, and if it would have been adapted to a film that won any Oscars; that would be ironic. But back to The Oscars. I've always wanted to, at least one year, watch many of the nominated movies, and then watch the awards show and cheer for my favorites. So far, I've rarely seen many of the nominated films when it comes time for the awards show. But maybe in the future, it'll happen. But it'll be more likely to happen if Hollywood starts making more interesting movies.

Dog Danglin' Afternoon

It's a bit past 2pm and I'm finally eating lunch. This day is going okay, though, and this lunch is delicious. Yesterday, I moved my table to a different part of my living-room so that I can put a couch or loveseat in here, because I want to watch my TV from a couch or loveseat. But due to budget constraints, it might be a while until I actually buy a couch or loveseat to fill that spot.
